The municipality of Kópavogur, Árborg and Reykjanesbær are developing the new steering tool Framfaravogin was launched in November 2019.
Framfaravogin provides robust, actionable insights for these communities to take the next steps in their development.

The municipality Kópavogur is first to set up the first Social Progress Portrait which helps a small community thrive.
Cognitio as the local partner of SPI in Iceland, in cooperation with a steering group from Kópavogur, lead this project along with its partner in London. The town’s leaders & Cognitio Iceland have to take the first step toward helping the residents thrive and in the process achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
This project was the key to the success story of Kópavogur and its SDG implementation phase.
